The story

The problem

Laneline had a thriving café and a Shopify store that nobody used. Their subscription page took eight seconds to load on mobile, the checkout asked for an account, and their wholesale customers were still emailing PDF order forms in 2025.

What we built

A custom storefront built around the subscription product, with a wholesale portal gated behind a single magic-link login. Stripe handles payments and recurring billing; Klaviyo handles emails; the whole shop ships from a tiny CMS the team can run from their phones during a rush.

We also killed the "create an account" wall — guest checkout converts the new visitors, magic-link covers the returning ones, no passwords either way.

The outcome

$12,000 in revenue the first month, of which $4,200 was new subscriptions. Cart abandonment dropped 38%. Wholesale orders tripled because their buyers could finally re-order in two taps. Lighthouse: 100. Average load: 0.5 seconds.
